Tony Perkins

Tony PerkinsOne of TV and radio personality Tony Perkins' earliest memories is seeing The Beatles on "The Ed Sullivan Show" as a toddler.  He has been a fan ever since.  Tony was the weatherman and feature reporter for ABC'S "Good Morning America" from 1999 to 2005.  During that time he became known to Beatles' fans nationwide for his interviews with Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison, Yoko Ono, and many others.  As the show's best-known pop music aficionado, he presented highly regarded pieces on George Harrison's death, the twentieth anniversary of John Lennon's death, the re-emergence of Ringo, "Let it Be.....Naked", and many other topics.  In addition to this, Tony has appeared often at "The Fest for Beatles Fans" as a panelist and interviewer.

During the cruise, Tony will show excerpts of his interviews with Ringo Starr, and will talk about his interactions with Starr, Paul McCartney, Olivia Harrison, Yoko, various members of Wings, and many others.

Tony currently is a morning anchor and weather personality for "Fox Morning News" in Washingotn, D.C. He has been writing a book about The Beatles for about 20 years, and according to him, will probably never finish it.

Tony Bramwell

Tony Bramwell"If you want to know anything about the Beatles, ask Tony Bramwell. He remembers more than I do."- Sir Paul McCartney to Donovan in a January 2002 interview Tony Bramwell's incredible life began in a postwar Liverpool suburb, where he was childhood friends with three of the Beatles long before they were famous.

And by the time he caught up with George Harrison on the top of a bus going to check out "The Beatles, direct from Hamburg"--one of whom George turned out to be--Tony was well on his way to staying by them for every step of their meteoric rise.

If anything needed taking care of, Tony Bramwell was the man the Beatles called, the man they knew they could trust. His story has been sought after for years, and now, here it is, full of untold stories and detailing with an insider's shrewd eye the Apple empire's incomparable rise, Brian Epstein's frolics, Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters, Phil Spector's eccentric behavior, and new stories about Yoko Ono, the Stones, and the life-his life.

Our guests from BTC 2010 gave us some kind words of praise! Thanks for all the feedback!

The 2010 Beatles' Tribute Cruise was so much fun. I met so many lovely fans, in fact, I got to hang with cruiser Virginia G (too bad her mom Alice was not here) the other day in NYC. Lara, Leslie and I want to say Thank You to Woody, Ilene and Angela for making the trip a pleasant one.
Let's do it again...May Pang

What a great job by all that helped organize this event. Thanks to Woody, Ilene, Angela, Joe Johnson, Don E Gee, Nancy, May Pang, Shannon, Paul, Jorie and, of course, BritBeat. If I missed anyone sorry but this is something not to miss next year. Very well done, they all deserve a lot of credit.

We really had wonderful moments at our "boat"! I've surely got new friends... Julie, Virginia, Sherry, you, Alice, Jill, Sue and so many others... :)))) It was great to be with you all on the Cruise... Next year we'll be together again... :) I'll never forget those days and the wonderful Beatlepeople I've met!!

Thanks everyone for making it an awesome cruise!

It was a blast! When can we do it again?

What are the dates for the next cruise?? We want it on our calendars NOW!!! Thanks, Woody, for THE best vacation ever.

Thanks again Woody for putting this all together! Pete and I had a great time getting to know you all. I have a photo album in my FB page that is open to friends and friends of friends to view. Feel free to browse. Start planning 2011, okay?? ;-

From Nancy Andrews: What a great time!!!!! Let's do it again...soon xoxo

It was a truly FAB time. Thanks Woody!

Just a fantastic time. Thanks so much. This was one of the coolest things I've ever done... if not the coolest!

And many thanks to Woody and his crew for producing such a great trip!

Thanks Woody! Had the BEST time and can't wait for the next one!

Best trip ever! :)

Woody, Ilene, Janice and Angela... thank you so much for the greeeeeeat moments we had this week... Everyone that loves The Beatles should be with you-us in the next Beatles Tribute Cruise!!! I enjoyed every show, contest, trivia, workshop, dinners, etc. we shared... A big hug for you all!!

Woody, I knew I was going to be having a great time. I knew I would. What I didn't expect is that things would go 100 times better than I had originally expected.

So bummed to be back home! :( We all had an amazing time and it was great meeting new friends! Thanks so much to Woody, his wonderful family, Angela and everyone else who worked so hard to put the cruise together! Can't wait till BTC 2011 :D

The Beatles Tribute Cruise was FANTASTIC!! We intend to make this an annual event. Great job, Woody!

I've lived in So. Fl all my life (Miami & now Plantation), but had never gone on a cruise as I get really seasick and was apprehensive, even with everyone's comments that I wouldn't feel a thing. The Beatles T.C. was the incentive I needed to take the plunge, and wow was it worth it! My girlfriend & I had a blast, and a great part of our fun was due to you being such a great host/emcee, etc! And genuinely nice, too. Ending up a fantastic week with all the work you did on the Paul McCartney concert and live show on Sunday was a bonus. It was great to meet the man behind the voice, and we thank you for a wonderful time. Looking forward to next year! Lisa Gardner

I wanted to thank you for allowing my wife Shannon, myself and the 'allbeatlesstore' to be part of the "Beatles Tribute Cruise 2010". We had a terrific time, met a lot of really nice and interesting people. It was definitley a learning experience for me. Thanks for everything and hope to hear from you soon!

Beautiful memories. If you can make the next Beatles Tribute Cruise you will experience a week of meeting new friends who share the same love for The Beatles. And many events that include parties, concerts, contests, and guests who hobnobbed with The Beatles. Plus you can enjoy a beautiful cruise with wonderful stops in exotic ports. It was very relaxing and stress free! The ship was like a floating city with an indoor mall that was a mile long! Incredible! And the food... all you can eat! Gourmet! There are exercise rooms and personal trainers if you need to work off those meals, swimming pools, miniature golf, night clubs with live bands and dancing. And the entire staff was helpful and accommodating. There was great security on the ship and at the ports so you never felt unsafe. I'm not good on boats but I was not seasick on the cruise. The ship was so huge you didn't even know you were moving.

We had a blast on the Independence of the Seas on a Beatle Tribute Cruise earlier this month...featured BritBeat, America's Premier Beatle Tribute Band. Looking forward to our next cruise!!!
